Awesome! I’m embarrassed to say, I woke up this morning and realized I forgot the new tag for central ok. I did 3 tags yesterday, totally forgot and had to make a quick run this morning. Curious, how’d you notice broke spoke on Super T??

I had one brake on the rear of my old one. It will make a lot of noise.
Just about like the old days with a clothes pin and a card on the back spokes on the bicycle

These bikes are known to have spokes loosen up. At a minimum, when I change oil I will at least ping each spoke (with a small wrench, screwdriver, or whatever). I may do it in between changes too if I am doing something else like checking brake pads.

I pinged my spokes Monday and got a thud on one of the rear spokes. It was still in place, never came out, just the head was broken off at the rim hole. You can see the spoke heads bulge out of the hole along the rib on the rim. The head on this spoke did not bulge out because the head was gone.

I have a small 1/4" drive torque wrench, a 5mm Long Ball Hex socket - 3/8" drive, and a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter to get it on the torqure wrench. I use this to tighten spokes when I think they need it. Tighten to 4.3 ft lbf / 52 in lbf

I didn't get to hear the noise on mine. :(

Thanks for the valuable info. I’ll make spoke inspection part of my routine.

When I was working up in Oklahoma, I had the pleasure of knowing Billy Jack, he was quite a character and I miss working with him.

I just drove by that park! I can see the old school in the distance. I used Marshall for How ‘Bout Some Okie Tag 6 days ago.

Oh wow! I didn't know. I live in Logan co and I dont get much time to ride. That Coyle one was sitting there like a big fat ripe peach, begging me to reach up and grab it. Was the Marshall one still up? Maybe could have got 2...
Edit: nope, gone by already. I almost took a photo at the fire dept too! Then I saw the park
