Anyone try to buy one of these in the store? The sales page shows the GPS for $250,
    http://www.cabelas.com/browse.cmd?categoryId=108094680&WTz_l=Home

but it shows up at $450 if you try to put it in your cart. I'm not sure I need a new GPS, but for 1/2 price, it's a smoking deal.

Yah, I bet people really appreciate that.

The earlier dates seemed good to me, FWIW.

Was this person driving a plow truck?
Ya that was pretty close. Wasn't expecting a plow truck taking up 2/3 of the road. Luckily we weren't on the gas at that time.

Earlier date is great with us!! The water on the island was soooooo nice.:D

No matter the dates, we'll figure out how to make it happen.

I still think the UP would be a better location since the vast majority of the riders are dirty types. WI don't like our kind, but the yoopers do.

I'd much rather spend my money in a place that doesn't look down on us like lepers.

2nd week in August isn't too much to ask is it? The Guzzi Rally has always been the first weekend. Can't we all get along and rally?:dunno

I couldn't agree with this statement more. I feel no love in Wisconsin for us at all. :norton

last year sat of 2'nd rally weekend, 4 of us were running the "HAREPARE" tracks (which are awesome!). A oncoming UTV guy stopped us, and angerly told us "can't you read the signs, No motocross bikes!" "all your bikes are gonna get impounded when the ranger catches you" but sir these are street legal bikes... "no motorcycles allowed!" he wasn't hearing what we had to say

This thread also needs more food. When you share a campsite with tj007m this is what you're subjected to...

That bastard. We survived it, though.
