Located in Ironwood, MI is the statue of Hiawatha. This 52 foot tall statue has resided in Ironwood since 1964.

    Anyone going to tag Hiawatha?

I was planning on it, but with the GS still on one wheel it would be a real pain carrying the back that far!

I have a picture of me sans bike on that statue? Does that count? In the lower left corner you see a 6'7" Lobster with a bunch of little lobsters clingin to the mukluks. Sorry, no bike though.

I just saw on the news today that this bridge is open again. Since nobody has tagged the big indian statue, I may try to make it out to the bridge. Waiting on a new rear tire...:1drink

The bridge that was tagged last Fall was closed shortly after the tag was made. I tried to jump start the thread again by posting a new tag spot that could be reached. If the bridge can be tagged by bike before the Indian, then that is a fair tag since it was posted before the Indian.

    Good Luck, first tag wins!

Instead of posting a new tag location, I'll just leave the next one as the indian statue. Cheers!
