    The perfect ride.

great friends, great food, great new avatar...

Perfect weather, no dust, no one got hurt...

    That bike is the "waterdog"

It is a DRZ that I found here on ADVrider from Louisiana. It had been under salt water for 2 weeks (water line was at the seat base). I bought it for a parts bike. It has been a really cool project. It needed a piston, cyl, carb... I did the 440 kit and Edelbrock. The thing rocks. Thanks to Mark Herman for the great deal.

    Great Ride Reports!

Rev: The UP to ride and do some water stuff looked awesome. I wish I wasn't laid up with this ankle thing or I would have been up there for the past couple of days riding with Skinner and Fireman.

Staples: I didn't know they had anything down there but corn. As you get closer to Danville, it starts to get a bit nicer. Thanks for sharing and how's Motogirl doing so far....

A new friend ,Gustavo from SA, and I had a great ride down to the Farm and back, yesterday Oct 6th. I had forgot about the mob of people doing the Spoon River drive thing, but left early and had a great ride down. On the way back I stayed west of the Spoon and found some good gravel roads. Gus had his gps, so I will be able locate the route for future rides. This great riding weather, get out and do it!

Looks like you had fun. Why were you on the 225, is the 600 down or do you just have to get the new tires on it?

The 225 just hasn't seen much action and I thought would be a nice change of pace. It has proven once again to be a great little machine:thumb
