This sounds fantastic! I've spent considerable time riding and backpacking that part of AR. It is an amazing place. Thank you for opening your ranch for motorcycle and outdoor adventure.

I notice WildernessRider.com has been off the air for a few days. Hopefully this is a temporary problem. PM me if I can help. I speak Internet and web dev.

    Hey thanks for posting!
I am not having any trouble accessing the WildernessRider.com site at present. Seems like the link is also working. Are you still unable to get on the site now? Delighted to have the opportunity to put riders & outdoor enthusiasts out on my place. I turn 60 this year, and have been an avid dirt bike, outdoors, & off roading enthusiast my whole life. Bought my first wilderness acreage in Newton County AR when I was 22, and have been building onto the parcel size for all these decades. Ready to attempt the realization of a lifetime goal; opening up my ranch to other fellow enthusiasts. I am very hopeful that riders, hikers, climbers, wilderness campers, & off road enthusiasts will find the place as enchanting as I do. At present we are around 2500 acres in size. There are several adjoining large block land owners who might be pursuaded to throw in on this endeavor, if it takes off and all goes well on my place. Potentially this could grow the park to around 5000 acres of pristine wilderness, smack in the middle of the Ozarks best adventure vacation & two wheeled recreation region. Please come visit when you can, and thanks in advance for anything you may do to help us grow!
By the way, have you caught our radio show & podcasts dedicated to us dirt riders & offroad enthusiasts? Please check us out at OutdoorsWithWheels.com
We try to give voice and content of interest to regular walk of life everyday enthusiasts like ourselves. Always interested in good feedback from other riders... Donny Stuart

Good stuff! I will definitely come check it out--I already know I'll love it. I can't get enough of that part of the world.

Since you said the site works for you, I did some digging with DNS and traceroute. This is odd, but I found that going through Time Warner, my home ISP, I can't route to your website. The trace stops in the Cogentco network--the last hop before making it to liquidweb. If I change my DNS to use the Google DNS, I can route all the way through the Cogentco network to your web server at liquidnet. I also note I can reach your web site from my AWS-hosted servers.

So this problem is "local", but it's at least local to Kansas City Time Warner customers and potentially a larger Time Warner or Cogent routing issue. I'll try to call Time Warner as a customer to see if I can get this escalated to someone who can help. However, I'll probably just get pissed and hang up the first time the support guy tells me to reboot my router. ;)

I made it out to Donnys place today and its cool. Superb riding in this area.

Since we all know threads are worthless without pics I thought I would share the view from the bunkhouse at Donnys.

The sun is shining at the Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch and OHV Park! It will be a great weekend. There are dual sport rides, woods riding, evening bon fires and great camaraderie. You can register online or show up at the ranch this weekend. 530-377-6678
