Just this weekend I went barreling around some great
    logging roads near Chester California.
The name of the road was Humbolt road or
Humbug road. There were great logging roads all around
and there was a combination of fast packed roads too.

You can get to Humbug road off of 89 near highway 36
which is just west of Chester.

I could have used a GPS unit though.
That is next on the list.

    I had a blast.

PS this is a pretty fancy message board.

A great rode up there is the Boyscout Rd. off of hwy 36. It leads to the valley over. (I forget the name... is it Butte Meadows maybe?) there are two cgs up there that rarely get used. Or I have camped on the boyscout rd. as well. Chester is a great town. Did you eat at the Kopper Kettle?

Didn't eat at the Kettle this time but I've eaten there before.
Another nice thing about highway 32 is just above Chico you can pull off 32 and ride Fire Breaks right along 32.

I used to live here and go to School here 1976, 1980, 1981 , 1982 and while I only had my dads Yamaha 125 I loved it the whole time. If you liked the area north of Chester try the area by Butte lake which is at the south end of the lake near Canyon Dam spillway.

I miss it so much, I lived at 7513 Hillcrest Dr in Hamilton Branch area on the east side of the lake.
