Nice, but that last scene looks more like Mittenwald than Morgantown. :augie

That Relive software is likely ho-hum to many here, but new to me. Will look into that. Thanks.

You came mighty close to the Moto Grappa in Cross Junction. Stop in sometime. :clap

I've been following this thread for awhile, mostly because I don't explore WV nearly enough. Gonna change that.

A couple photos from this month:

The weather was just gorgeous today so I HAD to get out for a ride. I channeled my inner Chethro & took a lot of pics. I don't think I ever got more than 50 miles from home.

Stelvio looking great as always. Have you found a replacement for the Milano?

Thank you. Nope, still suffering the sad poverty of only one motorcycle to ride. I have lots of ideas of what the second could be—a DR like yours is on the list—but I haven’t settled the question enough to act.

Great pics, as always, but man that Moto Guzzi is such a beautiful bike!

Speaking of the Milano . . . it did make it to WV while in my care.

Ladies and gentlemen please. Would you bring your attention to me? For a feast for your eyes to see. An explosion of catastrophe! :lol3

I hit the mother load of leaf peepin today. Almost 300 miles and 7 hours. Probably best to break it down by roads. Left with temps at 45 and it never went over 65F. I love this weather!

The Serpent. First leg Rt33 out of Spencer then down Gassaway road.

I took a lunch break at Sutton Lake. What a view to enjoy a water and a pack of crackers. :-) I had a tough time finding an empty bench.

Leaf Storm! The wind really started picking up around noon. Some severe gusts moved my front tire a few inches quite a few times.

On I went down Rt15 to Gerald Freeman campground. This looks to be a very nice Corp of Engineers campground. It would make a nice base camp for exploring the area.

I thought this was a bad road hazard, but I hit an area covered by 10 times more on Rt36. The high wind was really dropping crap on the road. I had to go across the double yellow to miss it.

Ahh, tree turds on the road. They were a challenge to be met head on when I was a kid. Great pics, BTW!

    Wow !

Can only imagine those paved backroads, low traffic count, fall colors, and the sound of a Italian V twin echo booming through the tree tunnels ! :clap

It was the best ride this year. The TT really sounds good. I really like when I stop and the engine is idling. It has a mild shake and it sounds like a flat head V8 with a lumpy cam. The gurgle and plop are fantastic IMO. Almost every stop for gas someone comes up and says what the heck is that thing? I had a lot of folks waving yesterday, but didn't see another bike all day. I couldn't have timed it better. 15 minutes after pulling into the garage it started raining. :D

I would say many leaves will be gone in the mountains prior to my next ride on Sunday with the TT, but next week the DR gets the nod to leaf peep this area. Still a lot of green here. Gotta try out the heated grips I put on it...

Yeah, I still remember my old bevel drive Ducati's. The sound of twin Conti mufflers in the crisp fall air on small backroads in the forest was special .

Isnt it amazing on late season days like that during a weekday, you dont even see a single other motorbike all day ? Yet in early spring you see several guys in wet , cold, crappy weather days ? :lol3 Odd.
