Great riding. The Oregon Back Country Discovery Route goes right through there. Great loop to the south of town. Take the rough route out and the easy route back. Makes a circle around the Bear Valley. Overall very easy if dry. Wanted to make it this year, but will be in a hot catholic church instead. BMW club, but everyone rides everything. Good time.

I grew up in Prairie City, just a few miles up the road and the area should have phenomenal riding on adventure bikes! There are 100's of miles of Forest Service logging roads that should be darn near perfect for a GS.

I wish I would have know about this sooner, as I would have planned to attend.

    Darn!

Even though I forgot my tent's rain fly last year, I still had a very good time at this rally. I'm signed up for 2017 and counting the days. It's definitely a do-over.

I'll concur with this. Been many times street and dirt. Note that with the heavy snowpack this year, the upper elevations past Granite will still be closed.

Reed, I'm 50-50 on this year due to kids activities. If we do come I'll have one daughter with me for the ride over with the other caging it with my wife. I'll shoot you PM if I need you to save us a spot!
