Hey everyone. Looking to rent a small bore in Chile for two weeks or so. Seems impossible. Anyone know a place that rents 250s or something smaller?
Also has anyone camped in Chile/Argentina on their way South from Santiago?

    Thanks

Most rentals in Chile seem to be +500cc. RideChile seems to have smaller bikes but make sure they can provide the letter from Chilean consulate if you plan to cross into Arg.
I believe RideADV have a couple of cb500x in their fleet but nothing smaller.
Lots of smaller displacement bikes to rent in Bolivia but difficult to get the paperwork to take out of country. Good luck.

Yea I checked with a few rental companies, ride-chile being one of them. The best they have is a KLR650. Seems overkill for a slow sightseeing ride. And to pay $2500 for 18 days is crazy to me. I'll probably end up going somewhere else with cheap rentals.

    Hi,
Me and my buddy are also looking for a rental company in Chile or Northern Argentina, that allows you to cross borders. Any luck with that?

Chili, especially with beans, has always been a rental rather than a purchase.
