Haven’t posted in these parts in a bit. The video explains how many of us corner. Good advice, interesting choice of words to explain it. He does say it in three steps making it easy to remember for those trying to lean this. - hope you get something from it!

One thing to add into this little trifecta of cornering wisdom is ‘look where ya wanna go’-

Get yer eyes right - NEVER look off the road Always sight yer exit...roll high, wide and handsome and yul be boofin with the best of ‘em.

Looks like it’s down on the peninsula somewhere.

Lead rider was familiar with that road, fully booping before the curve was fully visible.

I only clicked because of the use of "Boof", only to disappointed at the total lack of Kayaking content.

Maybe up near Petaluma? It looks way too flat and empty for the Santa Cruz Mountains. The only thing I can think of down here in the Peninsula that seems similar to me is the Hicks Road/Almaden area, and that may have more elevation changes and fewer trees.

Nice video BTW! Thanks for posting it.

Skyline or RT 9 somewhere. At least that is what I remember it looked like 30 years ago. I miss riding the twisty roads in the hills surrounding the Bay Area. Back in the day, Redwood Road from Castro Valley to Oakland was the best.

I think another benefit of the Boof, is you will not run wide into oncoming traffic or off the side of the road.

I was looking at this and might be over off of Calaveras Road, over that way, on the edge of the eastern south bay. Or up off of Skyline somewhere.

And yeah, Redwood is great. I've bicycled it a ton of times. I'm in Marin, so I'm usually out Lucas Valley Road on out to 1.
