I don't know. She may be too pretty for Texas.
She's a beauty...
She could win the Miss Texas beauty pageant...
What a shiny piece of machinery on 2 wheels! I've been tempted to upgrade to a 701 but I'll probably wait until retirement and see where I will relocate. Got SW Utah on my radar.
Keep up the excellent progress on the Monkey! Happy New Year!
All I can say is that what I missed in motorcycling in TX the ladies made up for...
No, No, No, No, you really don't want a 701.
Esp this super clean one owner, sweet fine side chick....
Happy New Year to you as well.
After Monday tuning session is done with we'll see where the Monkey is headed, project wise.
Edit: if you are looking at the 701, go for it. It really can cover a lot of bases. I was hesitant because of preconceived reliability internet drivel.
Still stock clutch slave cylinder on mine(there is a big aftermarket for "upgraded slave cylinders" which I sometimes wonder is the real reason they are supposedly unreliable. A couple people had issues and then it became gospel to immediately replace the unit when somebody bought a 690/701.
I decided to not buy into the hype and mine has been without fault.
Most of my miles are highway though so maybe the slave cylinder hasn't had as many cycles to cause issues. Couldn't say. Bulletproof for me though.
Wish I'd went for one sooner as I never would have needed a Super Tenere or CRF450L. The 690/701 to me is the sweet spot between the two(If you aren't packing 2 people and tons of luggage).
Any bike with a windshield I could never be happy with airflow and visibility so I'd rather be without.
Amen, but then again I am sucker for Brunettes..
I hit the jackpot with my wife one and done !
How do you keep the plastic so pretty without boot marks?
I don't wear the big MX style dirt boots.
Was using Ariat work boots until I messed up the lace loops in August and now I'm using the boots I bought off of Joel that are like a hybrid hiking/riding boot.
Plus, I'm beyond careful with everything and I don't consider myself to be that hardcore of an off-roader. Competent and calculated but never really pushing the limits. If I think I'm going to crash or drop the bike I'll avoid a section.
Well I guess that cat is out of the bag now.. might as well show everyone the secret handshake and send out the decoder rings !
Shhh, don't let 'em in on the secret handshake.......
Chillis- there’s a monkey in Havasu on Craigslist with 200 miles for $3500, if you’re still looking for one...
That is some funny shit right there!
Hey! It was early! Lol
Can it be ridden in dirt?
Asking for a friend.
It just amazes me of how much there is to explore in & around Vegas Brian,
I just came across this. I'm sure it's old news to you!
The 8min vid is decent with some good history in there.
From p142...this is just insanely beautiful:
dang...almost caught up...sure hope netflix has something.
Clutch issue is real, my 2020 701 failed at a stop light with 175 miles on it. I still love the bike and planned to replace on first service anyhow...shifts fine without it.
