A bunch of "Monkeys"
Back in the day, i have used ,,,,
R12,,,,if i was in a hurry,,
Did you roll a magnet over it ?
Im lat on this tonight,
F K took me 2 hours to get gooked up to wifi from hotspot,,,
Motors are easy ,,,
It was magnetic.
Dude you would love this bike. Weighs nothing and is very quick, only to get much better with tuning and break in.
if i was skeptical about the Flywheel/key/crank fit i would ,,
Dykem or majic marker both and TQ it all together and pull flywheel and check fit,
Or at least TQ it together , drink a pbr and pack nut off FW 3 turns,
Feel it and reTQ it ,,,
If it bit/fit good the first time,
Really i would of took bare crank and fit key and FW to it so it mattes well , also easy to remove FW,
And see depth and fit,,,
and cure it if it was not,
So when you "finalize " it it's a home run,,,,
Dam 1 in of snow outside,,,65 deg to 28 ,,,,
Makes me hurt from all the fun i had in life ,Chillis,,,,
I bet Chillis,
Ive been around the block a couple times riding/driving ,,,were my hair was standing up for hours,,,lol
but theres not much in my life i've missed,,,
Thats why im on Marrs,,, they dont do this stuff on earth,,,
Snow? Where are those may flowers!?
Flywheel has a solid fit now. Had to play with the key a bit to get the flywheel to fit flush. The bike feels a lot different with it fitting properly.
Should have did that marker test though just to verify. I'm confident the issue will not arise again. Cleaned the tapers of each piece twice to be sure nothing would cause a slip.
No pics or video while doing short runs to break in/tune the engine. I may have to start over with tuning too because timing may be too far advanced.
Too much unclarity on tuning the engine with the ARacer.
That said, I hit 80 mph in 4th gear trying to fill out the auto tuning map. This thing will fly once set up!
Do you plan to do any dyno work, or just figure it out on your own?
Just setting the parameters for the ecu and then auto tune it until it runs properly.
80 mph on that bike is crazy, people don’t see you on a normal size bike going slower
The plight of a motorcyclist! It is so much fun! This is definitely my favorite bike now. Hope it holds up!
Brian, what is the weight of a stock Monkey?
Like 231 lbs wet.
Lighter exhaust and lithium battery can drop another 10 lbs easy.
@Some Beach want an exhaust upgrade?
She's on the block but only in person deals within 250 mile radius.
Thanks for the heads up but I have the stock looking SP TAKEGAWA and like it a lot.
A lot quieter than the other one you had on?
No Vibes and tires well balance? How are the brakes ?
Be Safe my Friend, Hope you are on a road with a spotter and no other traffic about....
Everything is good. As the auto tune adjusts the vibrations are less.
Go fast. Take chances!
