Just took the bike and went to get something to eat. Restaurant was virtually empty. 3 couples and myself. By the time I was leaving there was just one other couple there.

Since it was so quiet I decided to do something I never do and that was to take a bike down the strip.

No pics as I didn't want to stop anywhere but it was very quiet.

Still people being idiots, cutting clear across from one side of the road to the other.

This FXDR keeps getting better for me. I love this bike and it is quickly becoming my favorite bike I've owned. We haven't even got to good weather yet where fonder memories can be made.

Pixel 4 XL. Does pretty good pics and the night photos(low light) are the best I've seen out of a phone.

You gotta get us some 'empty' strip pics!

Couldn't imagine what that must be like.

Brian can tell us what this man cave you found rents for now that we need to self isolate?

Looks like the biz is shutting down for 30 days. Lockdown on Vegas. Time for some big rides?

Would make an awesome camp, that one. I was going to put the bike in there but all of the old nails everywhere.

May come in handy now that stuff is getting out of hand!

    I need a dirt rig!

Yes, Seligman. The Copper Cart is where Max and the bike's were at. The owner showed me the bikes he was hiding in the shop out back with a beautiful orange Karman Ghia(used to be a favorite car of mine until I owned an air cooled VW). Still love to look at them.

When the weather settles down I'll pass through again and he said he'll show me the rest of the collection at his house. Can't wait to see that.

That’s got the makings of a horror movie written all over it.
Biker rides into town gets lured in to see the museum next thing ya know his body is ground up for burgers for the cafe down the block and his hot bike is put into the collection for the museum.
Ya I got some time on my hands!

Sounds like it could be. Are you a horror movie writer?

I can't scream but I can make my artillery sing.

As an edit: the weather has been lousy. Temps aren't great plus the wind has been racing. Have seen snow and rain over the past two weeks in my travels.

Usually I'm trying to cover a lot of ground this time of year due to perfect weather. The flowers are starting to bloom.

Now we are grounded for work and it isn't good enough weather to ride.

May do an underground event this weekend instead.

Chillis, if you want someone to ride with once in awhile, me a call. I live in Vegas too, 215W and Lake Mead. I'm retired so I can go anytime. Riding a 2018 KTM 1290 R.

What type of riding do you do?

I usually roll solo because of my distances covered.

It doesn't feel like a ride unless it is at least 400 to 500 miles.

I have done 950 miles in one day. My rides are usually 250 to 400 miles but can be more.
Tell me what you have in mind and I can say yes or no. My 1290 can keep up.

The Harley isn't fast but I have a knack for endurance and traveling light regarding stops, etc.

As soon as this weather settles I need to knock out a 400- 500 mile ride before my bike is ready for the next service.

I'm heavily affected by the shut down so I'll have time to ride!

    davidm,

Not sure how well you know the southwest, but Brian will show it to you like no other. This guy knows his shit on the SW, just make sure he takes a few stops so you can appreciate what you're seeing. Brian is a damn good dude, you'll enjoy your time with him!
