I'm just getting the research going for this next.. project. Don't expect any lightning fast moves here.
so it'll take 3-4 days instead of 3-4 hours like usual?
Life is short.
We're making moves.
Weather is easing up. It is riding weather out right now at 8pm.
Have to admit, this current market in Vegas has me very nervous and I'm moving into uncharted territory.
I think it all can work out though. I've not been this stressed in my life though.
Just feeling the cooler air makes me want to hit the road.
^^^ get some moto therapy...
if it doesn't feel right, don't force the move.
hope it all works out for ya.
Right now, nothing feels right!
then don't do anything.
its a weird time right now. i can only imagine whats going on in the vegas area, as its always feast or famine there.
Oh, I'm going to do the new deal alright!
Plays even more into my passions and should be ten times less stress than what I already do now.
Don't anybody hold their breath. In the next couple of weeks there should be some action though.
Not sure what ya got going on, but wish you luck with it.
Shoot me a message if your up for a Mt Charleston run for lunch during the week.
A buddy and I like to run up on Fridays (flexible on the day since we both retired) our route is out to the Reservation for a Gatorade and some BS around 9ish at the picnic tables outside.
Usually some other riders out there hanging out.
Then up Lee Canyon side, twisties over to Kyle Canyon and up to the Lodge.
Lunch and BS, then back down the Mt before it’s blazing.
When it cools down we will start wandering out farther.
I've a few bikes in the running for an AT stable mate, but I don't feel the timing.
No home is complete without a Grom. Honestly though, I was looking forward to further adventures on the Cub.
Pretty sure I'll end up with a Honda mini moto before too long...
What are you thinking?
If you want to go tomorrow, let me know.
CT-70's are a lot of fun!
That was my first moto when I was 10. I had a blast exploring Arizona ghost towns on it.
It was also the only reliable Honda that I ever had.
I've had 3 Hondas now but I've not kept them long due to the ever rotating fleet. They've all been fine machines.
If there were a modern version of the CT-70 from Honda, I'd be there. It is one of those bikes as a kid that I fell in love with. Still want a late model one. Kind of like the KE-100. Still want one of them too.
I've only had 13 bikes, 7 of them were Hondas, and the CT-70 was the only one that was fairly trouble free.
My Sportsters and even my old BSA have been more reliable, but the Hondas were cheap and available, so I ended up with them.
Cheap isn't always cheaper!
Were they neglected machines by previous owners?
Not everybody gives a bike the Chillis treatment of constant upkeep and baths after every ride!
