Can't wait for the scabs to be above the skin line. The ones on the lower leg are still below the surface so they will take a bit.

I can relate to the colors! From when the idiot hit me then bailed. 3 bones broken. My foot modeling career never recovered......

heal up fast, the cool season is coming.

That foot doesn't look like it's going to fit inside a boot anytime soon Brian... how's the mobility going on the left side??

You doing any rehab to get flexibility back in your ankle, calf, knees and hammy?

Surprisingly I have full mobility. The swelling/bruising in the foot is just blood pooling at the bottom of the extremety. My ankle took a little hit. It is above there, lower leg, knee, and upper leg, hip muscles that took the beating.

The swelling/tightening of skin/scab is what keeps me from moving too much.

A soak in the bath loosens all of it and I can move without getting a bunch of skin tearing.

All the areas that are swollen also have numbing of the skin.

Ribs, I can sneeze without crazy pain too. There is always a full pain unless I flex the muscles around the ribcage. All immediately goes away under muscle tension.

I am worried that this incident will have hurt my good knee though. My right has taken a couple hits and feels loose.

    Ouch.

I hate scrapes on the knee. It’s hard to bandage one, due to your knee always bending. Then, once it begins to scab over, every time you bend your knee, it cracks the scab, causing it to bleed again.

    Get well soon!

Edit: Holy crap Chillis. I didn’t see everything else until now.

    Get well man! Geez!

    Thanks.

My knee is pretty gross at the moment. It tears and oozes out plasma a lot.

I finally lost the last of the scabs on my knee after about a month and a half, but the swelling and tenderness is still there.
Stuff went away a lot faster in my 20's than in my late 50's. :loco

Just give it some time, it will heal up! :nod

My dealer has an FXDR leftover. It's grown on me as a result of your adventures but I still admit my love of Sportsters.

Best of luck on the healing.

    Thanks.

The FXDR is a tough sell. As cool as it looks it really lacks in comfort for the average HD consumer. Plus many of the faithful hate its looks.

Took this pic last night, with shadowing you can see the bumps/swelling under the skin.

Then this one now, did some more scraping/cleaning and Neosporin. Plasma coming up from places where scabbing removed. Looks lovely and itches like crazy!

Should have shaved the hair off!

    Just scars hopefully!

The pains I've experienced have changed throughout the whole thing. My ankle now hurts pretty good where I didn't notice it before.

My ribs keep doing this popping thing if I compress them together. Stretching them feels good.

Most surprising part of this all is how numb the skin is on my leg around the impact zones. Scabs are starting to itch but the skin around the hits are dead feeling. Wondering if that will return?

Scar tissue, I've got plenty of places where the feeling is gone since actual parts of skin are no longer there.

So are you at least using a compression boot for your ankle? Visited the Ole saw bones?

No ankle brace. I've just kept my leg elevated most of the time to ease blood flow.

I don't think I posted the nasty scab pic. The one that slid off after soaking for an hour.

    That was gross.
