Is that the one that is/was for sale? Nice bike and thanks for the good shot of the foot pegs and controls, while I decide what it would take to make the Cali a peg model. :thumbup

Maybe I missed an earlier discussion of this, and as a longtime HDM owner, I am hardly in a position to question taste in livery :D, but your center stand's color is ... uhm ... interesting. :augie

Yes, it is still for sale. I wasn't thinking of the rule again listing for someone other than myself and posted it for my Son-In-Law, Ooops. The ad was deleted. My bad.

As you are well aware, you will need the lower rails and which ever controls you choose. You will probably find someone to swap with you. Looks like good bones there, should be a great build.

    Best,

It's just a stand off an 850T I had laying around. It's too short really, but the DPO did me a solid and put a Harley front tire on the back so the T stand gets it off the ground (barely).

DF6167C2-A287-4FBC-BA23-B20E5BDBEF9C.jpeg I have posted a pic of my lm3 before but I think it was before a complete overhaul. Finally done now. I am always amazed at the time it takes to complete even little things that require attention. I had to replace the headers as the right inner pipe ,after rechroming ,bulged out and closed the header completely on the lower bend. Took some time and lots of head scraching to diagnose that odd fault.

Spotted this Falcone 500 yesterday at a car & coffee.

Hard to believe they were making something this ancient looking in 1963, with an exposed flywheel. But it does have modern inverted forks. lol

And thus ended the great Moto Guzzi 850 Chopper experiment. Pretty amazing you can twist a Tonti frame into that shape. I'm guessing it didn't win.

edit: and yes I'd ride it

Apart from the drive train not so much what reminds me to a Guzzi.
I like much more what i built a few years back. Unlimeted ridable, good for 2 week camping trip. Even street legal....no easy job here in Germoney.

I bought some CB77 parts from a local seller recently, he had a bunch of bikes, Triumphs, Bridgestones, Hondas, Guzzi,...then he showed me bikes he had just picked up on deals. One, was a V7 Sport Tonti frame that he got at a local auto salvage yard. It was there as METAL SCRAP, complete. Some previous owner decided it was "just" a bunch of metal.

I bought this Convert off a chap in California three years ago, shipped it back to the UK.

I like Black so it got a make over.

Still have the bags, tail piece and metalwork as well as the spokes so can change it back if needs be...

Nice Convert Coolcarbon. I'll bet it was handy on those single track Scottish Roads.
