End of an era. This 1991 LeMans is one of the final run of 147 Tonti LeMans. Only 17 came to the USA. Still a good rider today.

0BEE0492-0DBB-4CA0-AEF7-75C6D1593C58.jpeg My 89 Lemans that I just got going again after about a year. I had been chasing a problem with it shutting down at idle and chased the problem thinking it was carburation. Turned out to be a bad coil. Electronic ignition, 450 watt magnetic charging system by EME, lightened and balanced flywheel and ring gear by Ed Milch, timing gears by Joe Caruso in the UK. Transmission rebuilt and shimmed by Shawn Fader. There is just something about these toni Lemans that get under your skin.

That picture looks like it was taken at last weekends SD Guzzi rally.

    What robtg said.

You gonna tell us what the heck that top end is... Home made (albeit awesome) overhead gear drives...?

And is that an NT 650 (Hawk GT) swingarm...?

    We gotta have more sir.

    Thanks,

The OHC Guzzi motor is cool, but, I don't see the point of changing to chain drive (from shaft) with a longitudinally mounted engine.

The shop or the man behind this goes by Hunter CNC.

I found this on the Facebook MG owners page. Hunters CNC doesn't seem to answer the many question asked of him. Tim Hunter

This pic clears up the question of where the heads , cylinders and pistons came from.

There are plenty of questions , such as why not use a Guzzi trans , and why not drive the cams with toothed belts as per Ducati. The gearbox he adapted is from a BMW K-100.

    Here's one he made earlier.

Hunter CNC is near Cardiff in Wales.

I would never tell another man how to pursue happiness, but that battery placement is ... erm ... interesting. :augie

You have such rich history to ride out to and discover. Envious. Plus the weather, win, win.

    Convert looks great.

    Good on him!
He’s obviously got the time, passion, money, and considerable skills to do his stuff, so why not?

From a distance. Up close, it's filthy. Need to give it a thorough cleaning before Winter sets in here.

Picked this up last year. Have had several Guzzis over the years, but none were "small blocks". After putting a couple of thousand miles on this 750 Breva, I'm beginning to really like them. IMG_20190714_151525439_HDR.jpg
