Sorry Marc, but 2019 was probably my last Classique.
We had a rider in our group crash near the start and he had a pretty bad landing - nobody's fault really, just bad luck.
We squared him away and called for an ambulance, but by then our group had abandoned the rest of us who stayed behind.
Pretty shitty way to treat the few of us that still wanted to finish the ride but had no idea where the fuck everyone else had gone, including the team leader.

Not cool and unfortunate. Sounds like the group leader dropped the ball. I've been lucky and both times I've gone to this event its been really well run with low entrance fee, lunch and support for bike recovery.
Our group in 2019. Me and my two friends as a part of a group with others we'd never met.

I'll never forget as your two "friends" watched as strangers pulled you out of the mud :p

REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASSIQUE ADV RALLY 2020 is OFFICIALLY OPEN!

''The First Adventure of the year!''

Honda Canada, our Official Partner for 2020

You are cordially invited to register for the "The Classique" Adventure Motorcycle Rally, (14th edition) which will take place in the Laurentians just north of Montreal Qc, on May 15th to 17th 2020.

The event will indeed take place over three days this year, with TWO different days of full riding… this is just the first stage of registrations. A second phase will soon be announced for activities that will run over two other days on the weekend, Friday (15th) and Sunday (17th of may). For these there will be NO waiting list, you could register and take advantage of all the activities on the site

You will be able to take part in riding activities, training seminars such as mechanical issues in the wilderness, GPS navigation, some survival techniques, there will be ‘’Demo Rides’’ (Bikes & ATV’s). And if you stick around, there’ll be some self-guided tours and more fun stuff that will be announced soon.

And again this year, camping will be available direct on site in Lachute. Whether you want to throw up a tent or even come down with your RV, we will definitely have some space for you over the weekend!

Did anybody get a spot? As far as I can see, these assholes want us to believe it sold out in 1 day with nobody knowing when registration was going to open :/ @Geeztring thanks for the heads up.

Lol, you have to recall that last year's participants and I think locals get first shot are pre-registration before its open up to people coming from outside the area. It has grown each year and must be a hell of a effort to coord and manage. I think if this is a no go we can all get together and camp/ride just about any where. I'll talk off line to the others, see my PM.

Yes Saturday is full but Sunday stil has plenty of room

with regards to access, it’s not a question of « locals » getting first shot, but rather the team leaders that do (cant really do the event without them ), and as an added benefit to them, their team mates get a few days grace (3) to register .

Right now we’re somewhere past 550 registered riders for booth days and have room for about 700

Again, theres still plenty of room to register for the Sunday.

Dont forget the event will be held on the long week-end of May, most people will be « off » on the Monday

There is an expression that comes to mind here. Don't piss in my hands and tell me it's raining.
