Website hasn't changed since December 21 (just before the official shutdown). Website won't get updated until the government 're-opens'. I'm about to head up there in a few and I'll report back. Ive been up a couple times last week as well.

I completely forgot about you guys! The ride was amazing. Dirt was still damp, no dust, great hookup on the new rear tire. Trail was open and clear on Friday. I'm going back after this storm passes if anyone can make it out. I'm aiming for Thursday if it's light rain, if not then definitely Friday.

Every ride in the CNF is a party if properly equipped.

“Orange County Sheriff’s Department will implement a road closure tomorrow for for Trabuco Creek Road. The closure is expected to last through the day into the evening. Residents utilizing Trabuco Creek Road will have access, unless a Flash Flood Warning prompts a complete closure. #HolyFloodWatch”

If anyone was wondering, as of 1/23/19, the Maple Springs/Silverado Canyon gate was open. The gate heading towards Santiago Peak from "four corners" is still closed (has been since the Holy Fire) but it looks like you can still go north toward Bedford Truck Trail/Sierra Peak.

Passed by five different cages on the way up, which is odd given that it was around 6:00 PM on a Wednesday nite.

So does this mean we can start a group of night rides again? Sounds like some of you are braving the night so bravo. It sucks doing it alone or just @Grinch, I love the guy and all but the more the merrier in this case.
Used to be sooooo much fun when we had the night crew and all the debauchery that went along with it. There has to be some adventure seekers on here somewhere?...

Like I said before, I can bring an umbrella so those fellow ADVers that have to take pictures can feel at home :toney

Disclaimer: Those who fear the night or lack in goat trail experience can stick to the main roads or practice a little more during the day so we don't spend the night pulling bikes back on to the trails.

    Thank you

As soon as my shoulder is healed up I'll be ready for some more good times on the mountain. For now I'll have to mount the Sumo wheels and stick to the pavement.

You are already expected to come and don't have a choice. Was going to be blowing up your phone soon once I myself heal from a little rowher incident last weekend that left the body a little sore and the 2 stroke with a caved in pipe.

Chris- your not immune either and are also expected to make these ride nights FYI
