No bikes in the picture but my favorite after a good ride.....
I finally have a couple of days off from work, so I did a complete service on two of my 1100 Sports today, and I have to say that today was a good day! I have a bad habit of working way too much, so my bikes therefor get lots of rest periods between the occasional one to two hour riding sessions every now and then. I realized today that my red 97's last time out was in July 2018, and I don't remember when I had the blue one out the last time........ I actually took some time to really look at the red 97, which was my first 1100 Sport I purchased about four years ago. I obviously know that this is a nice looking, sounding, and riding bike; however, I never noticed all of the polished metal parts on this bike until today when I worked on her. I don't know how many hours the last owner had spend with polishing some of this bikes parts, or maybe it was a employee from the museum where this bike open on display for most of her life, but they did a really nice job with making this bike stand out a little from the others that I have sitting in the barn. I'm also glad that my bikes don't hold a grudge for being neglected at times, since both fired up without hesitation!
Only at Bonneville.

Cleaning a twenty year old Staintune Stainless Steel exhaust is not as much fun as it seemed that it should be..... :)
^^Looks like you managed though. Nice one.
