It did - and I have no conscious memory of the location. I'll be using The Force on this one.
Frankly, I'm terrified by the thought of ever looking at that damn device again while riding - don't want to be found snoring face-down in the dirt again.
Come to think of it... I've found friends like that on other trips and it freaked me the hell out - still does. Has anyone heard from jendean (the guy who found me)?

Get yourself the Helmet HUD (Heads Up Display) gps app and never look down at a gps again. Fighter jockeys use 'em why not us? In fact, if you look closely at most of TBarstow's crashes you will notice the zumo version mounted in front of his goggles.

Was there a jendean on the ride? No records here.

Jeff has a much less expensive room available for you in Desert Hot Springs when you're ready to do some desert riding. He's currently on the mend from and wearing a cast from ankle surgery. Will be riding again in a couple of weeks.

    Hello Kings,

"Wanna be" King asking for some advice..... Looks like I may have an oportunity/excuse and the time off to ship my bike to the Mainland - arriving the first week of May in San Diego, and then ride around the deserts and such, ending up in Minden NV, around 24/25. I Don''t have the skills that you all have, but I ain't afraid of the dirt... I camp where I park my bike at night. I'm looking for a few suggestions and weather info for early May. Head north from SD up throuogh the central deserts, Joshua Tree, possibly DV, cross over to, and head up, the NV/UT border to GBNP, ride up to the old RR track/California Trail and head to Salt Lake City, and then south and back through NV looking for hot springs in out of the way places on my way back to Minden... Possible fly fishing any place that might have it....

Any help/advice/steering in the proper direction, would be appreciated. Probably alot of snow still on the ground..... But I don't know...

    JP

    Spring 2012 Trend: Cheerful Color-Blocking

Spring runways were more colorful than the crowd at a Lady Gaga concert. Bold, solid-color pieces—like a cardi and skirt, wrap dress or demure one-piece suit—make simple dressing look glam. Our style tip: Stick to three colors max to avoid the girly, Rainbow Brite look.
