A friend of my recently had quite the adventure during a CO dirt bike outing - he fell down into the Devil's Punchbowl.

He had NO injuries during his fall. Remarkable.
Captured it via his GoPro. Insane footage!

I can see the Craigslist listing for that bike...
"Garage kept, well maintained, never been down, washed often"

Glad both rider and rig came out of that one.

That was on the news here. I'm glad he's okay and props to him and the other folks for getting the bike out while not destroying the area.

Time to buy a second-hand trials bike, practice, and 'compete' in the locals... On The Gripping Hand: it certainly was an "ADV!!"

The water looks beautiful. how cold was it?
And, If I was that rider, I'd be contacting the Guinness Book of World Records. I just don't know what category it would be in, Skydiving/Watersports/Kayaking with a motorcycle into a waterfall 100 feet below?
One more thing, never mind falling off the cliff, that trail looks to be just as hazardous with the menacing rocks hanging above you. The refrigerator sized rock blocking most of the trail probably didn't get there gently.

I dunno if it's because I'm old or just kinda suck and am lazy when riding offroad, but that doesn't look fun at all to me.

I'm glad the dude (and bike) are alright, though.

Judging by other rock strewn views down to the river he chose wisely where to go over, and landing in a pool of water was a bonus.

The video doesn't begin to show how rough that trail really is. Glad the dude is fine!
