Ridden these routes for years so Tracks for this area are just muscle memory.
North of Benson, west of Wilcox yes, but across the creek from the area we rode.

No way the dawg will have tracks . Without a doubt he has the most extensive knowledge of the hidden nooks
and crannies in Arizona and I'd suspect Colorado , NM. ? than anyone I've ridden with .
2000 + miles hiking " below the rim" in the Grand Canyon tells one how bad the dude is . :chace

Just have to get out there and look for these trails; right in my backyard!! It's not like I don't have time since I'm retired. A UK riding buddy is flying in at the end of January and this would be perfect for some Winter riding.

Longshot here .... if anyone has any lead on a home/cabin to lease near the Dragoons OR Canelo, I'd be all ears. PM me. Open to long or short-term.
Also, @mntdawg et al, of course I'll have the little ktm w/ me so looking forward to one of your (not too gnarly) ride days!

I see this is a DS thread, but I am going to risk asking just one general question about sporty street riding in Cochise county and then I'll be gone, whether anybody wants to respond or not.

I am 99% sure of moving to either Benson or Sierra Vista after the first of the new year. I am looking for tighter street twisties, maybe 40 mph to 70 mph, at least 10 miles of them, maybe a half hour or hour from either town/city, lightly travelled, decent pavement. (GSX-S 1000) Does either town have anything suitable? And could you mention key search names in your response?
Thank you very much. Again, sorry for being in essentially the wrong place.

You clearly went to some effort to produce all of that. Thank you very much.
I see some possibilities within an hour of Benson, so that is comforting.
    I very much appreciate it.

No worries. Glad to help. I have a house in Sierra Vista but chased a job into the DC Beltway. Hope to be back down that way in a few years.

There are also some nice riding roads south of the the US border. Ruta Rio Sonora is not only twisties, but downright beautiful. Bring your passport with you if you move....

Also in the "bit further out" category is 83 from Sonoita to Parker Canyon Lake. Sort of an odd road, not very rhythmic, if you know what I mean, but there is one section.....

If I'm taking Charleston to Tombstone, I usually also cruise through Tombstone out Gleeson Rd. It's slightly less twisty than Charleston, but beautiful and low traffic.
