don't get me wrong, buddy. it's not that i think that i can out ride you, or anyone else, for that matter. i'm just not afraid of a challenge. win lose or draw, i'm just in it for the ride. if i get to ride, i win!
sure wish i could go on this coke ovens run. i just know it's gonna be a fun one.

Alrighty then, I can bring some old broken, dusty plastic trophy I got laying around the garage somewhere........the winner gets to take that treasure home I'll even be the self proclaimed judge to decide who the badass rider of Coke Oven Madness is.

The lovely trophy goes to the GSA rider with mad skillz.

Blah, blah....really I just wanted to post up to say IN. Myself and Skip will be coming up from Tucson. Any others from the "Hood" coming?

I already piped in that there would be a whole group of us from the 520 (as self-appointed spokes person). By the sounds of it, this should be Prescott part Deux.

    Okey-Dokey,

I have it on good authority that the president and CEO of the North by North East Riders Club will be joining us on his mighty 950SE. I am hoping for the conformation.

I stepped up and said that if he comes on the SE I will ride the 990,(i was going to borrow DOD's 525) that being said, I am issuing a challenge to:
    Crashedbad-950se.
    Dillon-950adv.
    Yardstick-950se.
    KTMSER-950se.
DOD-950se. (if you are in town)

And anyone else who has a big bike and doesn't mind leaving some parts behind....:deal (i was witness to the gs carnage)

I will need some help in places to, how should I say,,.,.Pick up my beast!

Okay, who's in on a big bike?? Don't be skeert, step right up...

Welcome to all our Southern friends who are coming!!

This has all the makings to be legendary!

Don't let this skeer you off, But....you know it's bad when the quad riders are getting off to help!! This was where rick lee went head first into that big rock, It was ugly to say the least! I think he said that he did 3 grand in damage on this ride!

Who is that guy walking back up to help a downed rider?? Why that is the seabee himself!! Sure wish you could make this one D!

    One more for good measure.

This is russL, he had to leave his whole bike behind due to a broken shifter from this fall. He also suffered from a few other broken parts. I rode him about 8 miles to we caught up with the group, Spencer rode him the rest of the way out. 70+ mph going through the long wash, russL still has peices of that SE's seat in his undies.......

You have enough people coming to require a parade permit & you want to throw out challenges :thwak

This 3 hour tour could turn into Gilligans Island :huh

Are you planning to include Martinez cabin? Without it you'd be very lucky to get this big of a group through in under 5 hrs. With it, add at least an hour.

Maybe we should go run it this Saurday to check the condition?

Okay, just as long as I get to be the Skipper, come on little Buddy!:rofl

There are only 3 or 4 nasty spots - and not too long at that.

If you are going to cross the river to do a loop instead of an in-and-out, you should check the flows.

Los hermanos has decent food..across the street from there one can loop back via Hewit Station Road to Queen Valley. NOt sure if you can still hop over 60 to head back south as they have been closing access. Theres a neat old cemetary on the south side of 60 that has a grave marked Mattie Earp...supposed to be Wyatt Earps wife. Hard to find.

I think we have the gear covered:clap Garthe is loaning us boots and Geordie can fit into one of my helmets. He has everything else.

Reidy, what is the plan for Sunday?

I was thinking, If Nightstalker can lead a group, and if TC can lead a group and Yardstick or Dillon or 4play can lead a group, we will be fine. I was also thinking that maybe Uncle MilT and I can ride sweep, we might need one more to ride sweep, any takers? DOD are you in? seabee you in? GSBill are you in?

This is going to be really fun!
