Michigan State University just toppled into Baylor territory. Widespread, systemic covering-up of sexual assaults by players for both football and basketball. New report from ESPN's Outside the Lines.

The athletic director resigned today. Earlier this week the school president fell on her sword.

This, on top of the pervert Larry Nasser being allowed to molest little girls despite numerous complaints over the years.

MSU - what a great place to send your daughter to.

    Fuck MSU. Fuck them hard.

Probably the same thing coming to a school near you, or me. It's rampant, under-reported, and under-investigated.

Today's star athletes are coddled and can do no wrong, at least in the eyes of their enablers.

Big Business Sports mirrors Wall St., too big to fail, too big to jail.

I disagree. Some schools, perhaps most, deal properly with player discipline and law-breaking.

I saw it reported that MSU head coach Mark Dantonio said last year that the four players then accused of sexual assault were the first in his tenure. Then, yesterday, he said he had reported all 16 cases uncovered by ESPN's Outside the Lines to his school's Title IX overseers.

If the above is correct, which is it Dantonio? It can't be both. Either you lied last year or you're lying now.

Can a school get an across the board sports death penalty? Moreover, does the NCAA have the balls to do it?

Meanwhile, my boy Tom has signed the 3rd best class in the nation, and 1st overall in the Big 12. Even a couple of you knuckleheads ought to give him props for that...you know who you are! :brow
