If you're a Coug you've seen this before, thus the term "Couging it". The rest of the season should be a real rollercoaster.

That's very hard to do. Can't wait to hear what Leach has to say.

Auburn is showing signs of being a good team. How good? I dunno - I've traveled this path before only to be crushed like a June bug on a sidewalk.

From this point on, the games alternate between great teams and... not-so-great teams:

Sat, Sep 28 vs Mississippi State
    Sat, Oct 5 @Florida
    Sat, Oct 12 Bye week!
    Sat, Oct 19 @Arkansas
    Sat, Oct 26 @LSU
Sat, Nov 2 vs Ole Miss
    Sat, Nov 16 vs Georgia
    Sat, Nov 23 vs Samford
    Sat, Nov 30 vs Alabama

I think that Auburn will take care of business on Saturday against Miss St. Florida will be a big test but, Auburn has a very good chance.

LSU is another story - LSU is an extremely good team with a great quarterback. It's at LSU and it may be a night game. Not.good. There have been some memorable moments. From the homer files... link. Prepare the wings, make sure the beer is close and cold.
doesn't get any easier two weeks later and then, another two weeks late. Georgia first and then Bama. Holy shit. If you're even slightly religious, please pray for ole K7. :pope

I also hear they’re currently seeking FDA approval for a version that works during Bama field goal attempts. :imaposer

Boise State vs UCF coming soon to a tv near you. Just announced a home and home for the two teams . Should be fun to watch the two powerhouses of the little children of the poor.

I was had something about UT firing Pruiett or whatever his name is, but after that list sentence I'm too busy laughing. "Tow powerhouses of the little children of the poor". CLASSIC.

Leach said what he always says when WSU loses, he blamed the players and called them soft. Of course, he's genius when they win. He seemed dumbfounded during the collapse.

Leach's 2014 team lost to Cal 60-59 while Connor Halliday set a NCAA single-game passing record of 734 yards. WSU might want to try playing defense more often.

It's hard to convince elite athletes to play there. He does the best he can with who he can recruit.

    Clemson beats UNC 21-20:dirtdog
Sounds like Clemson belongs in the App State division.
With them and 'Bama playing junior high teams, I habe no idea how they can justify the rankings.
Should easily be UGA #1, LSU #2 and Auburn #3 based on strength of games played

I liked it best when rankings were almost entirely mathematically based, nearly non-subjective. But everybody got pissed because their pet teams weren't ranked high enough.

I'll quote myself from last week's WSU loss. Despite the brilliant coaching, the inadequate players that Leach has recruited blew it again.

Imma Auburn homer and have doubted their ranking all year. Miss St had to sit 4 or 5 players for team rules violations but I’m not certain that they would have made a difference. Auburn played well and I’m slowly buying into them. Big test comes Sat against Florida in the Swamp. It should be a heck of a game.

    WDE!

They look good on both sides of the ball, pretty complete team. Same can’t be said fir Bama, cause of injuries they’ve got some true freshman on d that need to grow up fast. Luckily they don’t have AU’s schedule. :lol3

I don’t know about easily, but you’ve got a point that the rankings are fairly meaningless at this point. Personally I’d love to see you’re rankings, put Bama at 5, give em some motivation and put the target on someone else.
