Congrats man....huge win for your team!
On the road too, that’s a big time win. And you still get a shot to take down clempson in November.
Yep, pretty sweet to beat our rival and the formerly number 3 ranked team in Athens with our backup red shirt freshman QB. I had it on the garage cleaning up my bike and camping gear figuring it would be over by the half.
I finally just had to stop and go watch it with my wife (and also Carolina grad despite being from up nawth). Definitely not a good outing for the Dawgs. I can't make up my mind if our defense is really good, the Dawgs just had a bad day or they looked past us.
I will take it whatever it was. Store up some good feelings for our inevitable ass kicking by Clempson.
Well that was a really entertaining game, closer than the two TD score would indicate. Death Valley is definitely not an easy place to go in and get a win on a Saturday night.
Saturday night in Knoxville (adjacent) was interesting. You would think that UT won the SEC East crown. But no.
Can't wait for Bama to handle their business next week.
+1 Really fun game to watch even if you didn't have a dog in the fight!
It was. I was not expecting a win but Florida hung with them on all those 75 yard drives until LSU finally broke their serve with the interception in the endzone.....absolutely zero margin for error. I'm still stunned with how they blew thorough the Gator defense though. I expected some resistance!!
Any guesses on the over-under for LSU- Bama? 110?
Shout out to USCeast. They not only won between the hedges, but pruned them
We play them this week, so hopefully that lucky horseshoe is out of power.
Certainly no one will be looking past SC any longer! That was UGA's problem...they were thinking about Auburn next month.
Any of y’all Bama gumps remember Tyrone Pothro? Have a listen, pretty cool story from a sensational playmaker that suffered a career ending break. I remember when it happened up by 30 on Florida, gruesome.
(With apologies for a non-football post)
Many of you have heard of Toomer’s Corner in Auburn. Typically, it only makes the news when Auburn wins a football game or some Bama fan does something incredibly stoopid.
Tonight, it’s in the news for a different reason: to celebrate Auburn’s Final Four appearance last year and to kick off this season. Huh? In the middle of town? Yep, they closed off the intersection, assembled a basketball half court and, it’s standing room only. It’s Tip-off at Toomer’s!
Trust me, I love unique events like this. If this occurred in Tuscaloosa, I’d pay them huge compliments! I find this to be pretty damn cool. A screen shot from one of the city’s webcam:
Thank you for indulging me. Back to your regularly scheduled football thread. WDE!
That’s cool. AU is in the top 5 for happiest student body per Princeton, it definitely has a quality campus life.

Congratulations to Illinois with their win over Wisconsin! Huge win!
To paraphrase Nicky Haydon, that's why we play the game.
You could see that coming. Flattest I’ve seen the Badgers in a long time.
And here come Oregon.
Don't worry, they (like any PAC 12 team) will fold when the face a true P4 conference opponent
Anyone watching Texas and Kansas?
You get the longhorn network?
