Al or somebody else, please e-mail me all the details about the Rally that I should include as information to anybody who asks about it in Venezuela (I'm in the process of printing some posters to put up at major m/c Dealers)

Well, if they're anything like me, there are a lot of folks making other ride plans for the time slot.

FWIW, I am considering stashing my KLR in Panama, and flying down and back.

I want to visit Bogota, too.

Any good suggestions on helpful people or places in Panama City with secure garage space for a bike for a week or two?

I broke my leg and rode back to Houston, Nate turned around and went back to Seattle, so neither of us will be on that boat. :cry

    Cancellation!!!!

Guys!!! Due To Unfortunate Events We Are Forced To Postpone The Colombia Libre Event To A Later Date Next Year.

Albert Our Main Man In Medellin Has Crashed On His Ktm And Seriously Broken His Leg And Will Be Unable To Recover In Time To Take Care Of Organizing Things In Medellin Before The Event.

I'm In Cali If Anyone Still Want To Meet Up. There Are Several Bike Events Down Here During November. Among Others motofestival De Alto Cilindraje November 13-14-15. the Organizers Expect Some 700 Colombian Bikers From All Over The Country.

And I'll Happily Lead Some Smaller Tours Around The South Of The Country If We Can Make A Group.

Hope You Recover Well Albert. And Sorry To The Rest, We'll Be Back With New Dates!!

WTF??? Broke your leg? How the hell did you do that one.......Last time I saw you, I was the one in the cast, pulling you and the red hack out of the trees. Sorry to hear of your bad luck.

The only place you're guaranteed to meet the B-man in person is at the Annual Latin American Riders' Rally.

Are broken legs becoming contagious for those planning on attending this event? Good luck to both of you FFs. I know a really good orthopedist to recommend. :lol3 He hasn't had any business from me in over a year and I'm sure he needs the money.

I'm afraid I've used up my travel-quota for a while, so I wasn't going to be able to come to Colombia anyway. One of these days, we'll buy each other a beer. You can explain to me words like mythalomaniacorwhatever. I'll prove to you that I'm a pirate.

By the way, I met a guy in Panama on a big KTM. A Venezualan. He has a place in Panama where he lives part-time. I think he said he runs a newspaper, or does advertising, or some other nefarious things. I met him and his daughter, in Colon. I should have asked him if he knew you.

"Pixman" and his daughter, in Colon. I was driving a Honda Pilot covered in Darien Mud, and I saw this KTM at a gas station. I had to stop and say hello. Luckily I had the mud photo on my iphone. He recognized it. I explained how he could get there from the gas station. He didn't go. He really didn't have the right tires anyway.
