    Hi!

the rack ist from Hepco&Becker for the Gobi Topcase
The TT-Bag fits perfect on it

got it in germany from KTM-Sommer (56€)

think you will get it at every KTM-Dealer cause KTM sells the same Topcase now (in darker grey with the KTM logo))

I have the LC4 Tail Bag mounted on a plate from Andrew at Adventurer's workshop. The plate was $80 and mounts in the same stock location as the OEM plate. The OEM plate does not work well with the LC4 Tail Bag and I would not use it. Andrew's plate fits perfectly on the bike, looks professional and the bag sits solidly on the plate. The plate has the slots in the exact places required for the tie-down straps on the LC4 Tail Bag. Two in the front, one in the rear, centered.

For longer trips, I have the H&B topcase on order with the KTM mounting plate and hardware.

I also have the larger, black plate from Katoum/Adventurer's Workshop, and I really like it. Looks like an LC4 bag is in my future!

to mount and about 10 to remove the bag when using the TT rack.
And, it fits perfectly, the bag that is. The rack fits well too.....

OK - so I ordered the Wolf tail bag from Erik. Got it today. Damned nice.

I sent Erik an email with two suggestions - first, provide a strap attachment option in addition to the bungees. Second, include the rain cover in the price of the bag. Sort of galls you that you have to spend $17 for a piece of plastic with elastic.

Love the bag. While I didn't really want to spend over $125 for one, it will provide lots of great service.

Thanks for the advice Mountain GS.

    Dave

Edit - P.S. Took a look at the inside of the bag a little closer. The bungees attach through grommets in the bottom. I should be able to run some webbing through them and through the slots on the sides of my larger rear rack from Andrew at Adventurers Workshop.

Penny wise solution: I bought a Samsonite waterproof camera/video case at Wal-Mart for $12.00, works great. They had several sizes to choose from. I wrapped the carry strap under my rear rack, pulled tight, ready to ride !

Yeah, thanks, also tried that. I looked everywhere for a small backpack that would fit the space and I could just loop the straps and attach it. After running all over town, and searching the internet, finally gave in.

I do like all the attachment points, side pockets, top elastic, etc. The camera case would be good, but this is great.

Meant to do this sooner, but finally got round to taking a piccy of the Wolf Tail Bag on the 950, plus the Wolfman Explorer Lite Tank Bag.

Before somebody asks, the Wolf Tail Bag is sitting on a Givi base plate that normally takes a large top box (it's ugly, and I only use it if I have my 10 year old daughter on pillion).

$13 backpack- plenty of room, works great. It even kind-of matches my paint.

I almost bought the small MotoFizz, but decided on the KTM bag because I didn't want a bunch of straps flapping about. I made an alu frame that fits on the JC Whitney top box mount for the KTM bag so I can switch back and forth easily as needed. Plus it let me mount the soft bag further forward.
