His marriage of two 50cc singles into the 100SS twin is my favourite. It sounds absolutely awesome!
He’s a clever man and just a bit eccentric I think
He’s a fookn legend, that’s what he is.....
I just watched his vid on making the 1522 6-pot head. Amazing. Hacksaw (by hand) one block in half, band-saw the ends off the other, bit of manual milling to clean up the ends, align by bolting to the engine case (his 'use other things to measure' part) then hand tigged together.
Clean it up with a bastard file and you're done.
Very inspiring stuff.
Ok I am biased, but Aprilia really do make some great bikes. At the end there is a little bit of good info for adv riders
Did that. Mitchell river in the Kimberley. In a mustering chopper. No doors, hanging out the side with a Sony Hanycam from the ocean to the Falls. AWESOME !!
A week before, the pilot had crashed one from dirty fuel. A years later he was killed in one.
I have the vision in a pile of tapes.. I used to record tours then sell copies to passengers. Back in the day.
And the Kimberly is a lot more accessible than Zambia.
How these guys are just making videos for an online parts store is astonishing.
Yeah, I really enjoy F9's videos. The slow mo dubbing in that one had me chortling.
Over on the "Image from Australia" thread,
Home of George Fury, Aus. champ rally driver.
Bluebird pole from 5min, but Moffat at the start is also worth the watch - for the rotary scream and the way that RX7 sticks to the track. Wonderful mix of cars - I can't get interested in today's supercar monotone.
Check out the way that bluebird drifts out of the first corner.
Balls like coconuts.
Haha, I watched that race yesterday. Crazy eh.
Looks like the second vid has been removed due to embarrassment factor.
Prolly still available somewhere. It was one of the riders practicing his starts and he managed to fully loop the bike. Would not have thought it possible.
Haha, lucky I watched it before they removed it. He must have forgot to press the race start button
There’s so much to love about this. Like zero OH&S (!), sparkly tops, Pink Floyd... what a classic. My, what a sterile, PC world we live in now.
