Copper Canyon Info/S. Texas help

    A friend (Guzzi Quota) and I (KTM Adventure) are planning a trip the last three weeks of Feb. to Copper Canyon and then south along the coast to catch one of the ferrys to La Paz in southern Baja. Although we both have traveled fairly extensively in Mexico and Central America, neither of us have been to Copper Canyon before. I would appreciate any info. on particularly good roads and/or towns to visit in the area.

    We are also going to need to find a safe place to park a pickup and trailer somewhere with8in a reasonable distance of the border between Laredo and El Paso. ( San Antonio west and south of I-10.) Any suggestions, offers, etc. would be appreciated

    Presidio/Ojinaga is the best entry point for a direct route to Copper Canyon. Most border towns have parking lots that you can leave vehicles in relative safety for days or weeks. Prices are negotiable....
