...but he didn't sit down at the edge :evil Actually turned out wasn't allowed, didn't see the sign before back on safe ground...

Not this year (7 years and 20kg ago), but I like the Pulpit Rock (from last Mission Impossible moivie) even more, both the rock itself and Lysefjorden is just incredible. Further in the fjord you have the equally famous Kjeragbolten, the big rock stuck between the mountain walls above the fjord, to be done next year :-)

And of top of that, the road down to Lysefjorden is one of the best roads ever, not my pic but show the road well. The road continues on the top, less hairpins but equally good with lots of corners and fantastic scenery. Top Gear was there a few years back.

Surely photoshopped :evil OK, so I'm not the only one...

It was actually 2 proposals while I was waiting in queue, at least the first was real, she was really surprised and very happy. The second I think maybe was planned. Due to Corona, there was a lot less people than normal as normally 90% foreigners, waited only 10 minutes to get out for the pics, from what I've heard it can be up to 4hrs waiting under normal circumstances. FB and Insta...

Didn't go to Lysebotn last year but today I was back and the road was as good as remembered it, first pic from restaurant Eagles Nest at top of hairpins, second from Lysebotn at end of fjord

Norway's been pretty good, thanks, still less than 800 dead in total (we are 5 million people). Bit behind US regarding vaccine but everyone should have first dose by July.

That's great to hear. Some semblance of normalcy here in the US. Hope for the same for you soon.
