it started as a street legal motorcycle... and trike conversions are legal.. Harleys do it all the time. So yea, I dont see why it wouldnt be street legal
For $1000 could probably make it an okay little beater DS. Engines are cheap and easy to rebuild.

Trail 90 project. These are *kind of* hot in the market right now with small bore things experiencing a bit of a renaissance thanks to the grom/z125 crowd.
Trail 70 was my first bike. The 90 would be a serious upgrade

those XT225s are tough lil bastards. my first bike, and the bike I learned all the hard lessons on. even ran it without oil once, all it did was spin the camshaft bearing - replaced it and kept on ticking.

$2k seems a little spendy maybe, but that looks like a larger-than-stock tankat least.
