$9600. Weird that the link stopped working, because it's still listed - I updated to the post.

Forks and front fender look like they are from a /5... "The motorcycle has it's original paint." :photog

It amazes me how much model-specific information you folks have. And I thought figuring out the variations over three years on my /6 was confusing...

Everybody knows a piece of the puzzle and when we put it all together sometimes it seems a lot.

Some know more than others. BB is pretty amazing with recollection and I'm sometimes pretty bad but I will sometimes see something that all the rest of them missed.

"he says it's an R60/2 and the vin tag on the head tube says it's an R60 but that looks like an R69S engine to me? What am I missing?"

It's an R60/2 with an R69S motor fitted. You will also note the number on the frame and motor don't match. This bike is obviously built up from 2 or more bikes. The gas tank wouldn't have been stock in 1964, so I expect it was off the R69S. The forks are US model forks, right down to the headlight ears and lower forks (as the /2 wheels use a larger axle). Yes, the front fender, fork brace and lower fender brace are from a /5. It has a /2 headlight bucket and speedo, I wonder if they are /2 or R69S? The bike would probably make a good rider but it would require a lot of work and parts to be a restoration project. I wonder which number the title is under?

Well, I did offer to trade him my RS for his R69S... maybe the seller is going to reach out to me, LOL.

update 6/27 - looks like there might be some interest from the seller...

    Maybe 1/2 the asking price.

I had a bike listed one time but the asking price was not that exorbitant.

One poster asked if there was a stack of $100 bills in the under-seat tray.
