My neck of the woods, I don't see airheads for sale often. Hell, I barely got my asking price for mine when I sold it.

R60/6, looks pretty clean, seller's description:

"1975 BMW r60 great shape needs new throttle cables text dan
    firm no bullsh#t"

This has been listed for several years at the same price, one of the older ads had better pictures but it has some nice accessories!

    Seller's ad:

"Real nice classic bmw. Own a piece of history."

Maybe I'm crazy, but that thing appears to be fuel injected?

^^^I think you are correct about the fuel injection, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of you being crazy anyway. :lol3

Dang, I had never even noticed that feature before, Nick. Maybe he'll post up some other photos some day, it's actually a pretty cool looking bike. Just a little rich for my taste.

Oh yea, I'm bat shit crazy for sure. These things are of course not mutually exclusive.

Oh I agree. I don't love the blue, but it looks like it would be a cool bike otherwise.

It also seems to have that style of fairing that the upper part rotates with the steering and the lower part stays stationary. Not sure but sure looks like one of those. I forget who made them.

The upper and lower fairings you refer to are Wixom Brothers. The leg shields remain stationary while the upper or handlebar fairing moves side to side.

LOL, I noticed the mufflers too. We had a guy pull up to a Tech Day two years ago with his mufflers upside down like that. He parked the bike and while he was talking to some people a few of us just walked up and started unbolting and fixing them, haha. Didn't even ask, just made it right.

I see a few problems with the bike just from the photo, but I see a big problem with the price. It may well have a 1971 manufacture date, but it's actually a 1972.

Turn signals, tank, side covers, exhaust, seat, gaiters?. Heck, and that is just the obvious... no telling what lurks inside...
He isn't off by more than 50% on it's value I don't think... tho some sucker(not yours truly) will probably buy it for 6500 -7000 and think he got a great deal and stole it...
