    I think they are playing the Craigslist game... they charge you to list a vehicle now, they don't charge to list parts.

    Both ads were posted at roughly the same time, and one is in the section where one would have to pay. So they aren't saving themselves anything.

    What's suspect to me is that in one ad the bike is described as being built from spare parts, and in the other it is described as a "nice restored classic". It's clearly the same bike, so both of those descriptions can't be true.

    Edit: I see now that the first ad expired. Either way, the change in description feels sketchy.
