She's been for sale at least two months that I can remember. He might be flexible on the price. I want to know the story behind the bullet hole aft tank.

You should buy it and let me ferry it to Ithaca. I hear it is gorges up there.

What it is, is: an '80 R100RS engine and all else but for the R75/7 frame - obviously not numbers-matching yet could be good for someone.
Runs, brakes work & look good. Probably roadworthy but it was raining and I didn't ask to ride it. Clear title, Washington plates.

Not an "S" just a 75/6. The white zip ties are special Bavarian design to prevent the bar end mirrors from falling off.

I'm aware. It's why I put the quotes around the S. Although, I realize now that may have been a bit too subtle haha.

Funny story; I was driving north out of Hilo one day, and traffic was being diverted to a side road that paralleled the highway to avoid some road repairs being done. They had a cop directing traffic back to the highway after the detour, with a long line of cars waiting. Almost every car that pulled up to him, most likely tourists, would stop and ask directions. He would point down the hill at the main highway, literally 100' away, and and tell them "Go there, turn left". After watching him do this about 30 times, I pulled up and asked him in my best southern accent, "Now, is this here the road to Maui...?" He spun around, laughed and pointed down the hill.
