I had one of those and strangely, it turned out to be a trouble free bike. But yeah, that is a crazy price for a crude bike that vibrates like a paint shaker.
Finding a 49 year old Sportster, basically intact [stock] is very rare. Geez, even the exhaust looks original. Someone will pay what he wants. Buying the bike you lusted for when younger is like the fountain of youth, right?
