My buddy Carl used to own that bike, he got it from Casey, who had it built by Dave Miller of DMC.

It's wicked fast, I've ridden it, but it's a bit of a clusterfuck. It's obviously a cr500 frame, and I'm not sure how/what they did to get it "legal" I know more than I should/am willing to post about it. If you're serious, hit me up.

I do know it sold at the moto auction in Vegas a few years ago, and it did not sell for anywhere near what my buddy had in it.

Not interested in buying it, but it was certainly my most bizarre craigslist find of the day. I owned a Dave Miller built XR100/CR85 for a couple years and it was a well built machine, everything was built to appear factory. Didn't get ridden much (wife bike) but I still kinda regret selling it.

    2004 bmw r1150gs adventure

    condition: excellent

    fuel: gas

    paint color: black
    title status: clean
    transmission: manual

This is a flagship of adventure bikes and arguably the best GS. Fully loaded with tons of money invested. Barely broken in with just over 13K miles, Recent major service including brake and clutch flush. Super clean with top of the line after market extras and improved performance. Zega pro cases alone were over $2300 (with receipt) and topper bags over $200 for an example plus many more upgrades and accessories. If you're serious and have been looking for this particular machine shoot me an email with your contact for more details. For the right buyer I will throw in my BMW Zumo GPS ($799 value) and a set of low mileage TKC80s plus a great soft bag set up (rear is over $400 BMW brand and sides by Aerostich). Evetthing top of the line. Also have a Russell Day long seat and a new low seat available. There's nothing like it in this condition, this low mileage and this many upgrades out there. This bike is for someone who wants the best, it took a lot of time and money to set it up just perfect. I won't sell the extras separately. If you want stock bike there are plenty out there so please no time wasters and tire kickers. Funny offers will be ignored. I don't need to sell it, I don't simply ride it enough to justify keeping , it's a crime to hold this beast and not ride it. Last chance to own this magnificent piece.

Wet weight for a R80GS is 410lbs. I would guess this "GS" would be under 400lbs.
