Did the pompous twat in Stockton, break the rear fender tip off lifting it over a fence!?!
The rear knobby and sacked out rear shocks are custom additions
Still shocked to see the prices people are asking for bikes...
And now for something completely different (at least to me):
I like it. Beats the hell out of an overpriced RL. And maybe it's actually rare.
And maybe ...? I don't know the value of TYs (but they don't seem outrages [but they're clearly "used"]). These are in Canadian dollars:
Dang $ 586 U S
For non functional. Knock yourselves out.
Even @Brewtus wouldn't fall for that.
Maybe not specifically him, but knows people who would drive ~1,200 miles for a free TY80 or two.
Did I miss something? I didn't see "free" anywhere in the two ads.
It was 2600 miles (total) for one TY80. Plus spares.
Zero desire for a battleship TY250. No danger of a road trip here.
No road trips to Canada right now laddies!
This was the week I rescheduled my May Ontario trip to. . Now rescheduled for May 2021
From the ad:
bike runs really strong with no known mechanical issues. The bike is mostly restored by a previous owner. Note: no wiring for headlight and tail light, fork seals are leaking, and the carburetor is leaking
Leaking carb and fork seals but no mechanical issues.... no wiring for lights????
I missed Montesa Monday, so you get 'Tesa Tuesday!
