"With a baby on the way, it has come time to try and sell a few of my toys. I don't ride as much as I use to sadly anyways (as you can see from the dust in the pictures that I will be cleaning off at some point this week)."

But "I'm open to some trades: Cruisers, dual sports..."

In other words, he wants another bike he can ride, just not the abomination he already owns. The baby and not enough time have nothing to do with this sale.

Hmmm... His current abomination is a single seater and as such it doesn't leave any room what-so-ever for a passenger aka baby, especially with the proximity of rear wheel and we've seen recently what can happen to passengers when get in touch w giant rear tire... :deal

Soooooo, he'd entertain swap for cruisers/dual sports and such as all of them do provide passenger accommodations... Win-win-win... :D

The seller actually BOUGHT that bike from the custom shop advertised on the bike. :yikes
Doesn't that make him even dumber than the guy who built that thing? :hmmmmm

Somehow they managed to ride it a whole 2 miles before t-boning that tree? Some people ought not be allowed to be on the road.

    :lol3

While I generally agree with your conclusion, it's also true that this Can Am trike is acquired taste to maneuver around. And, it's got nothing to do w mortar-cycles, it's more of a car (in a way) so I could see how an inexperienced Can Am rider could've lost it within 2 mi... :deal

Sure but instead of filing an insurance claim he decides to unload it for, what, a quarter of the purchase price? With TWO MILES on the odometer? That either means he had no insurance on a $15k+ toy (Dumbass) or he had insurance but is too embarrassed to file a claim (DUMBASS!!!!) :jack

Maybe. Still, I'd argue that anyone who can't drive something more than 2 miles without crashing it, be it plane, train, bike, truck, boat, auto, etc., ought not be allowed to drive at all. :muutt

The MSRP on the Ryker starts at $8499, but I understand your sentiment

No argument there although the pricing you quoted is a bit off - but still dumbassery on the part of the seller...

This particular model, Ryker, is just $8499 then one up is F3 at $15999 and fully loaded RT is at $23299...

Either way, it looks like minor front plastic damage which someone handy can take care of easily and have virtually new Spider for less than half money at a dumbass' expense... :D

Agreed - although there may have been probably a squirrel which made them get off the road right into a tree... It plain has to be somebody else's fault... :D
