Beautiful rides! I cut my teeth out there some back in 2016 and couldn't get over the scenery! However, I feel like I'm still finding sand in my gear from those trips, lol

Did a little trip through the southwest to work a couple of pro bicycle events the last 3 weeks and got a few shots of interest

Not really action, but I like this shot at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico
    [IMG]

My friend Dejan, fellow photo moto/motor marshal and professional photographer got an awesome shot of me working at the Tour of the Gila bike race as I carried a videographer around the criterium course in downtown Silver City, NM
    [IMG]

Out on the final Gila monster stage with my photographer Casey Gibson as the leader of the race passed by
    [IMG]

After the NM race I visited friends in AZ then headed to CA to put the AT to work as a motor marshal for the Amgen Tour of California
    [IMG]

We actually had 2 ATs working the same marshal team
    [IMG]

The ride home involved way too many hours riding in cold and heavy snow. I was a bit busy staying upright so the best I could do was this shot of the ice buildup on the front near the top of Vail pass.

Had a big day on the bike yesterday. Solo ride.
850 km door to door for a burger. Well worth it.
AT did great. Averaged 5.25L/100km. Could prob. done a bit better, but got a bit carried away on the pavement (140-160km/h where I could see no one), and lots of slow, or 2nd gear stuff.
Seat concepts seat worked a treat. No backside soreness to speak of.
Flickr is down for maintenance, pics/desc. below.
Route south. Route north was almost identical except I kept going on HWY 40 north to miss the pass on 532. It would have been three inches of mud for 25k..no thanks.

Day started at 6 am, complete with fog and 3C...heated gear good!
    IMG_5348.jpg
532 south of Longview AB...Looking a bit dodgy...
    IMG_5351.jpg
Yep...it was fucking dodgy. My 1st detour of the day. 1700m, and climbing to 2100m to get up and over the pass... I gave up at 1700m.
Got back on the pavement, put the hammer down, and continued south.
    IMG_5354.jpg

Next detour happened on Hartley road outside of Fernie...ya...to early still
    IMG_5357.jpg

Got to Wasa Country pub for a damn tasty burger. Also met a fellow adv'r who stopped in to say hi. Helped Florian out with a leaky fork seal on his 1090.
Rode some old stuff, and new stuff...long but great day

Man, I gotta say you guys with the Silver bikes are really making me like them a lot. I'm super hot for an HRC colors bike and red black white was my second choice but Silver is looking damn nice!

Awesome! That’s what we call day trip level 10. Your tool tube is cool, I want to do something like that. You have it detailed anywhere that I could do likewise?

That B&B skid plate looks bomb proof! They make GREAT stuff and I love my radiator guards from them.

Yeah man, I love their stuff. I'll probably get those, and I'm debating on the luggage rack.
