just did the same
What's the rear shock?
Anyone looking for a 300L,ABS might try Greenville motor sports in Greenville Ms. They had one in stock Yesterday, unspoken for.
Just did as well, received this response within minutes......
Unfortunately, IMS has not developed a fuel tank quite yet for that new 2021 CRF300L model. I know that I’ve been receiving more and more requests for us to build an oversized tank for that model though, so it’s definitely next on our road map and we’ll hopefully start working on that one sometime in September. It’s usually a 2-3 month process to build any new mold/tank, so I wouldn’t expect the tank to be finished up until around the end of the year. I suggest reaching back out to me around mid-September, and I should have a new update for you by that time. Let me know if you had any other questions or concerns.

Got exactly the same answer. Sounds promising though.
Do these bigger tanks typically still fit under the stock plastics?
Yes, if you look at the tanks for the crf250 they fit like OEM.
I already wrote to Acerbis before. They just answered, that they don't have a tank available. No words, if they're going to develop one soon. Reply came from Italy though, so maybe the answer wasn't very detailed due to the language barrier?
Another Rally delivered in the Ottawa area and I have heard there is one available for sale at the dealership in Waterloo.
Ottawa grabbed my attention because I have a lot of family a bit SW of there, then I noticed you're actually closer to me than Ottawa. Beautiful riding country up that way, can't wait till the border is opened back up and travel is easy again.
Its amazing that there is such demand for a small capacity low priced motorcycle worldwide. There has been more interest in this little bike than there has been for much more pricey and exotic items in the past.
The CRF300 Rally I ordered in January just arrived at the dealer here in Auckland...
Still waiting on mine, put a deposit down (non-refundable, yuck) and just waiting now. I call them every now and again to see if their ship schedule has been updated. In the meanwhile, I've had another dealership call me up with "Hey, we just got one". Suck part is they're OTD price is almost a grand more AND I lose my $500 deposit.....
Oh well, I've got a pile of parts ready to swap on when/if it arrives.
I’ve read plenty of comparisons between the 300 and the 450L but I haven’t heard any comparisons between the XR650L and the 300. These two are closer in price and HP than the 450. Anyone care to weigh in on moving to a CRF300L from an XR650L?
Might as well compare an ST1300 to a Shadow 750.
The 650 is a big carbureted air-cooled thumper, and nothing at all like these new 300’s
Great news. I ordered mine in January too and was told today I should have it Friday.
Edit: The "L" version - Not the Rally
Nothing except price, HP and target market.
IMO, the Rally is a game changer.
A true light-weight dual sport that has fuel injection, very good fuel range, comfortable ergonomics, smooth engine at highway speeds, good wind and cold protection, with excellent service intervals at a reasonable price
I have a deposit on a 300L since February and I'm getting impatient. I'm now leaning towards a duke 690 enduro r. Thoughts?
