Tried to find you this morning Clarke before I left to give you some money but you were proving very elusive. I gave Huck the money. Yes I did Huck, I have witnesses Thanks again for organizing another great weekend in Vermont - roll on next year.
Thanks Clarke & everyone, epic weather! More swims than fires for me. personal goal: arrive earlier next year
Cromag was awesome this year. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.thanks to Clark for doing it again. And thanks to Jamie and Mary for feeding us all. Hope we can do it all again next year.
Just an awesome day! Thanks for leading, there were too many twists and turns to keep track of but I knew I was in good hands. Don’t know if the weather could be better at the peak than that day! Thanks peeps (and Clark) for a great time!
For the first time in ten years, I didn’t pack spare tubes. And Leah picked up a nail. Definitely didn’t want to deal with that this morning, but better in camp than out on the road. My patch job held and we made it home. Definitely need some longer irons. Much like everything else , “size matters “. I got the job done with the little six inchers but it would have been over a lot quicker if I had longer irons.
Thanks Clark for the continued awesomeness that is Cromag. Great time slightly bummed I had to miss Saturday ( great time with my family at the Highland Games). Thanks to all the people I rode with , shot the shit with, and laughed with.
Excellent weekend..thanks Ckark, Jamie and Mary. And everyone else for showing up and having a time. Couldn't have been better weather.
Thank you all for coming and making it another great time in the woods. There was a lot of wood, fire, beer and Huck was still good. I look forward to getting together with you all every year. It is always a blast. Thank you Mary and Jamie for another awesome feeding. It was delicious and I swear they keep making it better every year somehow. Thank you to Jesse for the coffee service. I know it was appreciated. Thank you to Art for transporting my Cromag box and spares/tools I like to bring. Thank you skibum for sharing about The Rock. It truly is a must visit location on the planet. Be safe on your long ride home, always good to see you. Thank you to my boat crew, you know who you are, we got that done much more quickly than I envisioned. Thank you George for helping me round up the last of the picnic tables. Thank you fire handlers....those were some big pieces. Made nice fires though, lasted long time. Hazman, happy belated birthday and heal well, hope you are feeling a bit better. Let us know if you need anything. I may be able to scrounge up a granny cart for you to borrow. You can carry a fair amount of beer in the basket, you just need proper planning as timing is important if you really need to get there. And hope there is water in the tank when you do! Seriously though, hope all goes well. You will all be glad to know I met a holy man and wife on the way home. He works from a van; with Ding and Meth? Something moved in my my soul and I laughed. Is that bad? Until next time., stay well and stay on the rubber. Thanks for making it a great event, it is all about the people who make up Cromag Campout.
Already order the motion pro bead breaker Irons https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle...MIpeji1czl5AIVkbfsCh1HhgDLEAQYBSABEgIA_PD_BwE Hopefully this is an insurance policy to not get flats.
GPS said it went through. Gravel turned to two track. Then an overgrown grassy field. Down to single track through the woods. We got to a three foot deep dried up creek bed with steep in and out. That’s where we turned around because I didn’t have that devil on my shoulder telling me to push on (a.k.a Mike Willsmith )
That was fun. Thanks for letting me in at the last minute and, well, organizing the whole shebang. I especially liked the weather you ordered up. It was nice to meet a bunch of you. I wish I had the forethought to ask for screen names. Oh well... it's a good reason to show up again next year.
