Refund Rule: If you pay and do not come, my rule is I donate the money to the charity and to the state of Vermont. We are all adults, it is not a lot of money in the scheme of things, and it goes to worthy causes.

Same as last year, I will not be at the gate. I am setting up down at the beach, so you will need to come down and check in with me and sign the waiver at the portable home office. (what do you have against picnic tables?) Then go set yourself up. There will be pylons blocking the gates so that a motorcycle can go through. If you are bringing a vehicle, move the pylons, pull through, stop; and put them back. Then drive straight down the hill to the beach and park. Once parked, it needs to stay parked until you leave. Unless, you do not want to be allowed to have vehicles in the park again. This is an issue.....let's not ruin it altogether. That means no vehicles., none, any at all, nyet avtomobil' in the camping area. No one is special to this rule, please plan accordingly.

Another new rule for 2020: No riding around the gate on the grass with any vehicle.

I will open the gate again this year at 5 pm on Wednesday night. For the newcomers: there are hot water showers (you will need quarters, bring some or be stinky), you can pitch tents together on sites if you choose or spread out. I imagine there will be some wood sparked and we will have a kumbaya event every night. There are going to be limited parking spots for vehicles with trailers down by the beach, again FCFS. As in the past, the deal I made was once they are parked they have to stay parked for the weekend and you will have to ride your bike. The purpose of this arrangement is so that the small displacement inmates can come from a distance comfortably and enjoy the weekend. If we finally get a rush on little bikes taking advantage of the dirty routes we will be able to find you parking if it fills up. Don't be nervous, Guymanbro(?) has you covered and will be glad to take you along on his very nice wooded gnarly trips. I should mention this is a big person event. There is no hand holding, maybe some nudging in the right direction, no rides like a Hog group with a SAA or anything like that. Numerous good places to eat in the area and roads, roads, roads. Most folks get a group together and head out. Don't be shy, most anyone will be glad to take you along. Some groups are different than others, you will need to feel that out. Ride within your limits is about it.

You cannot bring self contained units (RV's) to the event. Sorry if that irks you, that is the overwhelming sentiment of the group and the park. There are camping areas not too far away. There are some B&B's in the area and the Woodstock Inn is quite close and very nice. More reasonable bed rates can be found in White River Jct., VT. I will provide you a list of area restaurants, emergency info etc.

If the gate is locked, walk down the hill from the gate, that is straight in down the hill, and I will be down at the fire. I will gladly come up and let you in and get you properly papered. How will you find me you ask? Look for something bigger than your average bear, with less hair, at least on top of my head.

    Leanto Bidding Donation

    Ash---------Gone
    Birch------- Gone
    Elm---------Gone
    Hemlock---Gone
    Oak---------Gone
    Pine--------Gone
    Spruce----- Gone

Bid by PM to shrineclown for a leanto.

High bid will be posted in op, but not the bidder, silent auction for those who prefer anonymity.

Bids in $10 increments so it is not a nightmare to manage. $80 cap.

    Bidding will end on 8/15/18.

E-mail paypal confirmation to charity to cromagadvrally@gmail.com by 9/1/18. The charity of choice will be determined by SixWatt and SWMBO and information will be provided to the winning bidder.

In the event of non-payment: leanto will be offered, to all in the annual thread, at the high bid and the first to say "dibs" and donate gets it, no bidding at that point. If the number was crazy, it will be offered at the highest donated amount for a leanto. Just cause I know folks will ask "what if."

In the event there is no bid on a leanto, it will revert to the first come, first served status.

Again, the bids are anonymous. If you are sharing, make sure you are not bidding against your leanto mates.

I am going to cap the bids at $80 for leanto. So, the first bid of $80 will secure the leanto for the 4 nights. It worked as we anticipated last year, but I don't want this to become more than intended with crazy bidding. I think $20 a night is more than enough for the usage and allows us to give a nice donation to Sixwatt's charity of choice. So, if you see $80 beside one of the leanto's above, it is out of play unless it gets released or goes unpaid. Once all are spoken for, I keep a waitlist; top of the waitlist has first refusal and then on down the list until are leanto's are committed.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Well I am still healing from the 2019 edition but I know I am going for sure since I have not made it home on two wheels for two years running (2018 mechanical and 2019 crash). 2020 is going to be the full circuit!!!
Thursday, Meat, BO and I'll pay as soon as you figure out the price.

IN, Wed, meat, sleeping in mini-car camper (I do love my little Matrix) down by the beach.

I'll do coffee again. Contributions in '19 covered costs plus a little on the new coffee pot. Thanks!

Wife's training on the TW200 is progressing so I might not be sleeping in the car after all. Guess I'll throw down for the Hemlock lean-to after all.
