Cross Country on a RE Himmalayan

    Not really, I did regrease my steering bearings before going because I had the whole front end torn apart. The factory knuckleheads put red Loctite on the triple tree bolts and they overtorqued one bolt. When I went to deal with it the head broke off. Story is here in this thread a ways back.

    I'll be riding the Smokey Mountain 500 counterclockwise starting from Tellico Plains on Friday. Two Himma's and 2 KTM 690's. Staying at the Cherehalla mountain trails campground, two wheels of Suches and the Ironhorse lodge. Anybody going to be out there this weekend?

    Can I ask you which duffel bag are you using? The big gray one on top. Looks like a bigger version of the Hi-vis one I have. Mine is the 30L and for weekends it's a perfect size but I think for longer trips and bigger bag will come in handy. I love the bag itself, it's water proof, has a top opening and has lot's of straps to compress the size down. Thnx.
