Hi Rob, have you ever worked on an aerostich roadcrafter? I have one that I need to lengthen the torso a bit, is that even possible? I haven't taken measurements yet, but Ideally I'd like to lower the crotch maybe 2 inches and add a gusset on each side to expand the torso a little. It is not a color I've seen before, it looks like a military flight suit color wise. I believe I can ask Stich for fabric/thread according to their site.

Yea, I've replaced plenty of main zippers before on those one piece suits, but what you're asking is a bit out of the scope of what I'm willing to take on.
Thanks for reaching out about it, but I think it's best to sell the suit that doesn't fit in the "Flea Market" thread here on ADV and just look for a suit that would be a better fit. You may also be able to find a suit for yourself there. I see them come up quite often.

You do boat covers too? I have one that I need a strap replaced on and I didn’t want to have to sent it all the bay back to Missouri to the folks that made it.

Sure. I've done a few boat covers. Edge reinforcement, binding, grommets, straps, restitching, whatever. I've even made a pontoon boat cover once, but I'm not really set up for a job that big. I had to move two of my machines outside for about a week for that one. I don't seem to have any pictures of that job handy though. Feel free to send me a PM to arrange a time to come down and drop it off, or possibly even wait while the job is done.

I have an old bag ( no not my wife ) The zippers stopped working on the four compartments, I really like the bag,
lot of memories riding out of that gear bag, more than a decade !! Hated to toss it in the garbage.
I contacted Rob and he said no prob he could replace the zippers for a fair price. So I sent it to him.
Rob not only replaced the zippers he stitched up the fraying ends inside of the bag, the price was" more "than fair.
    SO AWESOME thanks Rob

    Hello,

I have a Touratech tank bag and the main compartment zipper has failed. Is that within your scope of work?
    Thanks,
    Brian

Yes, I've done a few and haven't let one beat me yet. Surprisingly, it's not a super hard job with the right tools. Ive been know to replace the vinyl pocket too. Shoot me a PM and we can work out the logistics.

Hey Rob, I might have another repair for you. Apparently or at least according to my co-workers I'm too hard on my motorcycle gear, 'cause I'm riding too much I guess. I had it closed via duct tape, that didn't work too well either. Anyhow, what do you think about this. It's a Tourmaster Centurion, one piece suit, the issue is on the left leg right behind the zipper.

Sure, I can swap that out for you. PM me to work it out. I will be offline most of next week, so my response may be delayed.

Another job finished. This one is a tank bag that got a new main zipper.
It came out great and it'll serve the owner well for many years to come.
