Howdy all. I am thinking of going to Eastport ME for the 4th of July festivities. I used to live there, and it was always a good time. I am now in southeastern CT and would like to take a little less than a week to get there, camping along the way. I have a tiger 800 and am relatively new to offload on two wheels. I am fine with dirt roads, and probably gravel, and was looking at the NNEAT as an option, coupled with the Puppy Dog trail.

Any thoughts? Input from those who have done this? I am open to suggestions too.... Leave tomorrow or tuesday, get to Eastport (more likely Pembroke or Moosehorn NWR) on friday/saturday/sunday, and then likely the the highways through to Portland and Boston home.

    I'd seen that. It's a real possibility.
