My rides in the 1990s, and other than the panhead and R50 I still have them.
Does anyone know what this is? I think NSU or something French

Picked this little local one owner up this summer, my buddy is gonna take it on the 2018 Cannonball. 1926 JD Harley. Previous owner standing beside it......she was under that tarp for years.
Took this early one morning before it got busy in 2015, my 2014 Cannonball ride 1932 VL and yes, I hauled it........it was tired.

That's a Marusho Lilac. I seriously considered buying one of those in 1968 but the dealer in Sydney had only brought in a couple and the potential lack of spares - which were frequently needed in bikes of the time - put me off. If that's an Australian delivered bike there's a good chance it was the one I was looking at, so how cool its that, 50 years on? They were about half the price of an R60 and looked decently built. I've still got the brochures somewhere and if I can find them I'll scan and post them.
