Ha, that reminds me: We live in Broken Arrow, OK, our grandson came over about a year ago and spent the night. The next morning, we took him to the donut shop where he had donuts and chocolate milk. A couple weeks later, my daughter (his mom) called and said they were looking at a map on her phone and he asked where Grumpa lived. My daughter showed him and said, "Broken Arrow." He responded with, "I looove Broken Arrow. They have a donut shop with chocolate milk!"
We have been making donuts for a lot of years, my own mother made them for me, now I make them with my grandkids.....every single time they spend the night, and chocolate milk is a must with fresh warm donuts.
I got to have lunch Friday with my grandsons and my daughter (their aunt.) She said when I left, the little one cried and the big one said, "I'm going to miss my friend." My heart melted.
I've been cleaning up my photos. Here's a couple of shots from our annual Thanksgiving week camping trip in the Tillamook State Forest from 2018. The daughters 2 daughters, 5 and 1.5 years old. I like this one of Eve!
My grandson has outgrown his PW50 so we are building a XL80S together. He has been having a ball working on it out in the shop on the weekends. We started with two bikes and will try to make one out of the best parts. So far we have a working motor. The tough part is staying within the budget. (there is no budget).
My five year-old grandson Trevor is riding without training wheels now. It kills me that I can't go see him.
